Corporate finance, especially in the funding sector, is characterized by high dynamics, requiring quick responses to new developments.
It’s not always easy, and the demand for flexibility and commitment is accordingly high, but it also ensures that things are never boring. After just over a year at Inspiralia, I was promoted to a leadership position where I also built a team structure.
Over the past six months, we’ve established numerous internal frameworks and are now well-prepared for our planned growth trajectory.

I’m Fabio Schattauer, and I work part-time at Inspiralia GmbH in Graz while studying Environmental Systems Sciences and Business Administration at Karl-Franzens University. Since this is a full-time program, finding an employer who offers me the necessary flexibility alongside my studies was crucial, and I’ve found exactly that.
Depending on my semester schedule, I can freely schedule my 20 hours per week. Even if I only work one hour a day on some days, it’s not an issue. Another advantage is the office’s proximity directly next to the university. Additionally, working from home is absolutely no problem; I’ve even been able to work remotely from Bali for two weeks during holidays.

As the first participant in Inspiralia’s new site program, I had the opportunity to spend three months in Madrid working at Inspiralia’s headquarters. It was an incredibly exciting and valuable experience for which I am very grateful!
It was a fantastic opportunity to improve my Spanish skills and learn more about Spanish culture, as well as the various areas and facets of this multinational company.
