Sustainability reporting
With the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), sustainability reporting in the EU is being significantly expanded. Companies are required to comprehensively report on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts. The European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) provide the content framework to ensure comparability and transparency. For non-listed SMEs, there is the voluntary VSME standard, which allows for proportional reporting.
